The vast majority of our wines are produced in very small quantities. Sometimes just a few barrels. We choose to buy these wines simply because they taste better than mass-produced brands. The care you can lavish on a small batch is just that much greater. And it shows. One consequence of this policy is that occasionally we run out of the wines we write to you about. That can be frustrating but it is also an opportunity to discover something new, and often better!

If we do run out, we chose (with great care) an alternative, always of equal or greater value, and as close as possible in style to the wine offered.
